Corsica only has the 2 mentioned species. On Sardinia, besides Natrix maura, there's also horseshoe whip snake, which is limited to the southwest. There are also Sardinian records of Aesculapian or Italian Aesculapian snake, but so far I have yet to see the first picture of a Sardinian specimen, hence 'to be confirmed'.
